The “Buggy Rendezvous” Pony shows one mode of transportation during the early development of America. People went to the store, to church, to a country picnic, to visit friends, or even to a romantic rendezvous, via horse and buggy. In the old fashioned days of the west and east, a young lady out for a drive may meet a young gentleman out for a drive, perhaps for a picnic or a stroll during a warm summer afternoon. |
