The “River Crossing” Pony captures the excitement of a herd running across a river to reach their destination further down the trail. In the old West, the horse represented the only transportation and helped deliver goods from one place to another. The horse’s value and beauty were well known to those taming the west. Horsepower is one of God’s greatest gifts. Whether on the trail riding in a saddle, or traveling by horse and buggy, or stagecoach, the horse helped make our forefathers lives easier. Cowboys and Indians alike tried to capture the wild horse. The horse’s life history is part of America’s history of the wild west and its great adventure across the varied terrain and landscape they discovered. | ||
