During Fall 2006, Denise and the other members of the Market Square Steeple Fund committee were invited to climb the scaffolding to the top of the steeple during its restoration process. The preservation of this Portsmouth icon was made possible by donations from the North Church's dedicated church members, friends, neighbors, and local businesses.
